It is with greatest sadness in my heart, that I have to write this last chapter in Dijon’s life story. I lost my big golden boy on 11-29-2004 to bloat. He was five and a half years old. I held him in my arms, with his head cradled against my heart, as he left.
These pictures were taken on 11/28/04. We had a lazy Sunday together.
This amazing sunrise occurred on 11-29-04. I took pictures, not knowing this was his last sunrise.
He was my constant companion, and he still is.

I'd like to thank everyone for their nice notes and thoughts. I'm happy to know Dijon made so many people smile. Dijon is buried at Heidanes Hidden Treasures. A beautiful, peaceful place where the deer prance around, and the wind weaves through the trees. I visited Deej in April. Here is a picture of his resting spot.
